Hello. I installed the latest version of S4Studio (Star) and at the same time I gave a try to different versions of Blender. If I want to convert an item from Sims 2 or Sims 3, it doesn't work. When I open the blender file after exporting the mesh, Blender displays only lamps. I don't face the same issue with an earlier version of Sims4Studio, I mean Wishes. Well, I wonder if it is possible to have 2 different versions of S4Studio on my PC, for example if I rename one while I use the other one. . .
Thanks in advance for any help.

It seems to work fine. I just renamed the latest version (Star) and installed "Wishes" after renaming the "Star" version. I have now two files in C:\Programmes and two different shortcuts on the desktop.
Sorry for asking : I should have tried before creating a thread.🤔

Hi. While, yes, you can have two generations of s4s (wishes and star) installed at once, this is not a solution for your problem. You cannot jump between 2.7x and 3+ versions of blender, they are like two different programs.
First, make sure you have a supported version of blender. Blender 3.6.x are supported by Star. Then change blender path in s4s setting to blender.exe in Blender 3.6.x installation folder. Try cloning something and exporting it to check if it works. The blend file must be created by s4s for blender 3.6 to be imported in s4s, you will not be able to import old blends. If you need to, export the blend, delete meshgroups inside of it, then append yours from your old blend, assign cuts, save, import back

Thank you for your reply and for your help. I have already installed Blender 3.6 and cloned something with S4S Star, then exported the mesh, but I could not see it in this new Blender.I was totally lost, I think I am really too old for all these changes. But I will try again and since your reply is like a little tuto, I will save it to my hdd and follow it carefully. Thank you again.
