HI. I need help to fix an older cc skirt for my game from marigold. When my Sim is holding a plate wearing this skirt, the right arm/hand is much too low and too close to the body, and the left one is sort of just hanging down.
You can even see it better when sim is sitting on the couch holding a plate eating. Then the arm is almost resting on the leg.
There is something wrong with the arm rig/s along the line, but not sure which and how to fix this. I already tried to import the mesh into the same cloned pencil skirt, but that didn't work for me.
Can someone please help me to find the issue with this skirt and help me fix this? thanks.

Hi. This happens because the mesh was split with no regard for how the original was. - export the blend, join the skirt with the legs, leaving the see-through part separated; - clone the pencil skirt again, export the blend, check how the skirt is split; - then split yours the same way and assign corresponding cuts ( i assume you know how to do this, if not, tell me); - give the see-through part 0003; - it is best to remove unused vertex groups from each meshgroup - so in the end you should have 4 meshgroups. Save; - there is one dress that has 4 meshgroups, with the last one being in this exact area. While it is not a good idea to clone a fullbody and turn it into bottoms, it would not hurt to try ( it will save you some time). So clone yfBody_DressShortBands and import your blend there, then re-categorize and try in-game; - if this wont work ( can manifest in a similar rig problem), youll have to add a new meshgroup - clone yfBottom_SkirtKneePencil, Tools - Modding - Embed all externally referenced resources; - select the 3d Geometry in the list, click on Duplicate, change the last number of Group's number to 1. Select the 6th geometry, duplicate, change the number to 3. You do not need to add transparency to lod2-3, it wont be visible from afar; - choose Region map, click Edit items, choose Base, then again on Edit item. Select the first entry in the list, click Copy, select the second, copy. Select the fifth entry, change the last digit to 1, select the sixth, change to 3. Save all changes; - select CAS part, in the search bar to the right type LODs, Edit items. Same process: select Level 0, Edit items, copy the first entry, change the last number to 1. Repeat with Level 1, changing it to 3; - select the added geometries ( at the bottom of the list), change their shaders to Simglass; - save package, import the blends, edit textures

Thank you mauvemorn , for all yout time and input here, but just reading all this gives me a headache lol. I don't know how to do all this since I am not a CAS content creator nor have I messed with cas stuff much, just objects. It's a class too high for me. Didn't think it was so complicated, at least for me right now. I really wonder why marigold never fixed this skirt. I read on several pages that she was told about the issue with the skirt by other users several years ago, but never bothered to fix it although she said she will. If an Expert like you or another kind soul could fix this for me, I would really appreciate it since I really like the fringe skirt for my native american girls, but If not, I have to give up on it :'( - Again, thanks a bunch for all your input.
