Okay so I wondered if it was possible to create floor tiles that work like wall murals. So it's a painting as you drag the floor tile out to use as a ceiling. I'm thinking of the painted ceilings of for example, the Renaissance/Rococo/Gilded Ages where the ceiling is flat and the artist has used perspective to make the ceiling look as if it has depth. Also more those airy cloudy ceilings with a border with maybe some cherubs as opposed to the Sistine Chapel. I'm not sure if this is possible ![](https://secretknowledgeofspaces.wordpress.com/2018/11/05/ceilings-of-the-gilded-age/)

I think you could do this with enough planning, but you'd have limitations. You could break the painting into different swatches of a floor tile, then apply them one by one to the ceiling in the proper order, thereby creating the ceiling. That being said, you'd only be able to apply it to rooms of a certain size if you wanted the full painting. Alternatively you could try to make repeatable tiles (say of the sky) with extra swatches that can be switched in to add a cherub somewhere or a god.

Thanks! I have no idea how to do that. Could a floor tile be made to work like the wall murals, where you paint them out over multiple walls to make a single mural?
