Hi,
I have two accessories and the textures overlap. I tried to move one of the overlapping textures to the hat area, but when I added the texture (Diffuse) into s4s, the object - a coffee cup in this case, just turned invisible.
Any advice on how to cure this problem? I've had a search but, I just don't think I'm understanding right.
TIA

Hi, have you moved the uv_0 too? Just moving the texture image is not enough, the game needs the uv_0 to know where the texture is. Can you upload the package or maybe a screenshot so others can check it out.

I wouldn't know how to move the Uv_0 unfortunately, the only CC I make is tattoos and poses and custom pictures/paintings. Here is the package though. drive.google.com/file/d/1ovT71N4BHPXIzqW9NUq8flygiiyNslaI/view?usp=sharing

I'm using Blender 2.78 so maybe some things are different in newer Blender, but try this: 1. Select the object you want to move the uv & go to Edit Mode (press Tab) 2. Select all vertex (press a), make sure uv_0 is selected 3. The UV/Image Editor should be open by default, if not open it. Load your new diffuse texture (the one where you moved the diffuse to the hat area) 4. Select all vertex/uv in the UV window (press a) and move (press g to move) the selected uv to where the new diffuse is located, use the background image as a guide 5. Exit edit mode (press Tab) & save as new file 6. Import the new mesh into S4S & test ingame.
EDIT: I just remembered, instead of moving the texture to the hat area, try moving it to the other ring area so when you wear a hat there won't be any texture overlapping.

Thank you very much for the step by step instruction! I will have a go at this tonight after work!
