I am trying to make all the LODs for some shoes. The shoes have transparent parts, so they have an extra cut. For LOD1, I made an extra cut and put it as simglass and it shows up fine in sims4studio. However, for LOD2 I'm trying to make an extra cut again and this time it won't let me duplicate the mesh. Instead of a duplicate number with a changed letter at the end, the group shows up as 00000000. Does anyone know why this might be? Is there a limit to the total number of cuts a package can have? And is doing this even really necessary, or are LOD2 and LOD3 zoomed out so far that creating an extra transparency cut becomes redundant?

No, there should be no problem with that. So you selected the right meshgroup, clicked on Duplicate, changed the last digit, as usual? Did it give you a warning like « this number already exists »? You can try doing it again with a different number, however, there is no need in adding transparency to lod2-3. When the game switches to these lods, you can barely see the item, whether it is transparent or not is not important

Yes, I did that, selected the right meshgroup, changed the last digit, no warning whatsoever. I guess I will simply leave it as one mesh group for LOD2 and LOD3. Thanks anyway!
