Hello, it is me, EBHBPS again,
I have just a simple question that I haven't been able to find the answer to. I have some experience working in Blender, but I still fairly new to mesh-editing.
My current project is to convert a female cc high-waisted skirt to work on males/sims with masculine frame, so far, I have succeeded in replacing the female legs and feet that came attached with the skirt with male legs/feet; so there were no clipping in the ankles. I am trying crop/delete some material from the top part of the skirt mesh(since the male sim torso is longer than a female sim torso, some of the skirt mesh show through/glitches whenever he wears a male tank top.) Anyways, I am working in Blender, when I go to highlight a section of the skirt mesh in the front to delete it, somehow my model is transparent and it also highlight a huge selection in the back so when I delete it then I end up with gaps in the back. It does it with every mesh that I worked on.
How can I make my model not transparent, so when I select/highlight a section of the mesh it only delete that section and not highlight and delete from both sides?

Hi. Just in case you havent tried it yet, there is a simpler solution - clone the skirt, switch to Categories tab; - enable Masculine fashion but leave gender as Female. Make sure there are no frame or gender restrictions at the bottom of the list Without removing or changing fashion choice in CAS Check the item in-game, if this will give you unsatisfying result, then you'll have no choice but to edit the mesh. So what you're asking about is called Limit selection to visible in Blender 2.7x or X-ray in Blender 3+ the button in the bottom right corner

Hello, again I apologize for the delay response,
That is helpful but, not quite what I was asking, so I going to start over again and elaborate more,
I have this cc female skirt, it is: The Vanora Skirt by Colores Urbanos Always, Here how it is look like when I convert for male sims As you can see that there is glitching in the waist/bellybutton area since female torso are shorter than male torsos. So what I am trying to do is to delete some material from the top part of the mesh (where I drew the black circle.) So the skirt could work with a male tank top, Because here's how it now with a male tank top: . When I go to select to delete the front in Blender, it would highlight the front pieces of the mesh; Like this: It will also a huge selection in the back as you can see here. Essentially causing this to happen. Which takes me to what I was trying to asked whilst is: is there a way to select only a front faces/vertices without selecting/affecting the back?

The last screenshot above shows how to select vertices only on the front side. It is called X-ray in blender 3+ or Limit selection to visible in 2.7x Before you'll do anything, select everything with A in edit mode and remove doubles in 2.7x / Mesh - Merge - By Distance in blender 3, the mesh is cut everywhere
