Hi, I'm working on a hair mesh, everything seems fine in Blender 2.76, but when I try to import it to S4S it doesn't show up, and sometimes it say that it doesn't have any vertices. I was following this tutorial: I made other meshes following this tutorial and those have worked fine, except this one Blender file: drive.google.com/file/d/1aolRQj9WkOJNkUJS6gBR32446mPuT6OV/view?usp=sharingI really can't find where is the error, can somebody help me find the problem? Thanks in advance.

Hi. You should never transfer the item in object mode. Even when you create a curve for the first time, you must modify it in edit mode
- open the blend, select all meshgroups of the hair, Object - Apply - All transforms to delta; - save, try importing again; - if wont work, delete two meshgroups; - in object mode Add - Plane, leave it as is; - in this order: select Rubí long hair, shift-select Plane, join with Ctrl J; - switch to edit mode, select the plane, Delete - Faces; - duplicate the hair twice, give them different cuts, save, import back into s4s

Hi. thanks for the solution, I didn't remember until now that I had modified some curves while in object mode. I used your solution but I still can't make it work, maybe I did something wrong again but I will keep trying. In the meantime I made another mesh that actually worked (Suu Hair), so I will keep looking what happened to Rubi Long Hair. Thanks.

Hi. I got it to work but for the life of me, I can't tell you what was wrong with it. Here's what I did: 1. Delete all but one mesh group 2. Delete the rig and all its contents 3. Export the mesh as an OBJ 4. Open the EA mesh in Blender 5. Append the OBJ 6. Transfer the weights. Don't forget the limit total function! 7. Vertex paint the mesh 8. Transfer the uv_1 9. Delete the EA mesh (keep the rig) 10. Duplicate the mesh twice (so that there are three meshes) and give each mesh an appropriate cut number 11. Save and import. It's a good idea to make the hat chops. Mauvemorn has a tutorial. The hair is super cute, by the way. Editing to add: It has belatedly occurred to me that transferring weights may not be the correct method for weight painting hair. There is a tutorial here and part two is here. And The Sims Resource has a tutorial here.

It's really cute! I keep meaning to teach myself to make hair but keep getting sidetracked with other things. Sigh.
I don't know if you saw this given that I edited my post long after the fact but I'm not sure if transferring weights works with hair in TS4. I've been converting TS3 things to Sims Medieval and transferring weights works for that, but when it comes to TS4... ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Transferring weights kinda works for me but I still make some changes after moving some points of the rig, I use it as a base for the real weights. I made other meshes for hair and transferring weights helps me to find how I want the meshes to move but that is a work in progress, there are some meshes that I hadn't make them move smoothly.
