I was so happy when I saw the fences and trims ect added to S4S - but do I get this right, we cant change the meshes? Will selective clone be added eventually? Or am I just doing something wrong? I made new trims, was able to export the meshes, edited and reimported but item in game had the old mesh whatever I did.

First off, I really do not know if this will help, but if memory serves, you have to perform a few steps to get a functioning package that contains meshes the meshes you need and that isn't a default replacement. It's just a matter of getting instance numbers from the Game File Cruiser, cloning an object, and doing some magic in the warehouse to replace the cloned object meshes with the build item's meshes. I hope that makes sense. There's a tutorial here that may help. And this post of mine has other links. Qolygonal's tutorial is down but you can still find it on Wayback Machine. I don't know if it will help, however.

Hey ingeli, The Trims have the option to import/export the meshes as other build items do, but I think they may need an extra step on the import to update the trim resource points. I'll take a look at it and see if it can be automatically generated from the mesh. Selective clone for build items is a good idea that we could add, though some options won't be applicable for certain build types.
