After my sim performs my interaction and animation it snaps back into the starting position, how can I stop that? I want to make something similar to the Slippy slide where they animate and stay at the final position (not a portal)

Hi. I haven't done anything regarding animation and I can't help. I'm mostly just answering because a lot of animation questions go unanswered here; not many people here know how to make animations and those that do aren't always on here. You can search the site for "animation" and choose "creator help" for the board to search. There are quite a few posts, and a lot of them have to do with CAS items not animating properly, so you'll have to wade through those, unfortunately. As far as I can tell from what I've tried to research XML tuning is involved, which is also something I don't know how to do. MizoreYukii knows quite a bit about this so you can search through her posts here. @brujah is another but I don't think she's been here for a while. Her posts can be found here. I'll see what I can find and if I find anything useful I'll post a link. For now, this post may help. Here's another regarding override animations. necrodog does a lot with animations. His profile is here and he has a YouTube channel here. He has a series of tutorial videos here. He's also on Mod the Sims so you could check there. One idea is to look at Sims 3 animation tutorials at Mod the Sims. It won't be entirely what you need, of course, but sometimes you can pick up tidbits by looking at tutorials for other games.
