So it's my first time making any cc. I have completed the mesh and everything, but when I try to import it, first time the loading just doesn't end, and when I try again a pop up comes saying:
"Studio is unable to access C:\ProgramData\S4Studio\Scripts\geomexporter.py because it's being used by another program: blender-app."
I've tried restarting the computer, decreasing the polys, allowing antivirus access, force shutting the said "blender-app" but nothing seems to work. I switched versions when I stumbled uppon the problem with data transfer that is not available in 2.70. The 2.76 zip package includes 3 applications, blender, blender-app, and blenderplayer. Deleting the blender-app after force shutting made the studio tell me to install blender. I installed the 2.76 version again, and still no good. Please help, I really wanna finish this project before my vacation ends since I probably won't have much time to do it later!!!

Hi. - go into s4s settings, change blender path to blender.exe in Blender 2.76 installation folder; - open your blend file in blender 2.76, check if it has s4studio mesh tools and cuts. If it does, save the file ( even if you did not change anything); - re-import If this wont work, share a screenshot of your s4s settings, your blend and the package

I have the tools, although I had a problem with them for a moment. For some reason when I left my computer and came back the mesh suddenly was imported, although it doesn't let me do it for the rest of the lods. I saved the file and imported it to the game, but sadly it's deformed for some reason, it has weird shadows and it's weirdly tilted, it doesn't look like that in the s4s preview.

Most likely the mesh was too high poly to be imported fast. For anything else, we need to see the blend and package files

I'm not sure how to add attatchments here, do you maybe have any social media where I could send you the screenshots? not sure how to do it with the blender file and package

You can upload everything on a file sharing website like mediafire.com

Yes, your hair is very high poly. When making content for ts4, never transform anything in object mode. Even when you create your first ever curve, start scaling and moving it in Edit mode only. This is why it is displaced Do the following: - in s4s click on CAS and enter ymHair_BuzzCutNatural into the search bar, choose the feminine version, create a package; - export the blend, open it, File - Append, choose the blend with your hair, then Object, then NurbsPath.115; - delete rig.001 and bone_bone_shape.001; - the order is important: select NurbsPath.115, Shift-select s4studio_mesh_1, Ctrl J to join; - if you were to select the head bone and switch to weight paint mode, you'd see that the paint is patchy. It is best to re-do it. Assign the whole mesh to the head bone, then add b__Spine2__ using the gradient tool; - hair must be vertex painted, otherwise it will not morph properly. It can be vertex painted with up to 3 colors, but in your case one will work. Flood the mesh with 007F02; - import back into ymHair_BuzzCutNatural, change Fashion choice to Feminine - the shadow you're seeing comes from the shadow map

okay, finished doing all that, although I'm not sure if I did the weight paints correctly. the work was patchy because I did weight paints in 2.70, where it didn't seem to work. I'm importing the mesh, although it may take a while. Let's hope it will work now!

when I made blank the shadows in s4s now the hair is skin-colored

There is a diffuse map, which displays the main texture, and a shadow map, which is what was giving you that unwanted shadow. The hair was transparent because there was no correct diffuse map. It could became skin colored in ts4 because of some incorrectly sized or saved maps. Import your diffuse, then make the shadow, specular and normal maps blank (or, of course, make proper ones, but that can wait)
