Hello Everyone I am new here to both the Sims 4 Studio Forums and to the Modding scene FOR Sims 4, and I want to make some custom objects to implement into building mode for the sake of visualizing lairs of Villians I want to make for some Games down the line (Specifically a Hybrid between Castle and Gothic Manor) But I imagine that one of the big things I need for what I envision is custom wallpapers, custom floor patterns, and the main topic of this, custom windows and Doors
I tried searching for tutorials on how to use Sims 4 Studio To make custom windows and doors, but I did not find anything that I wanted if someone would like to link to a tutorial for this I would ADORE it

There’s a great tutorial on window cutouts here and an excellent breakdown of the parts of a window/door mesh here. Doors and windows are similar in that they both have (usually) 6 mesh groups, but you will need to weight paint doors to enable them to swing properly - here’s a tutorial on that. Weight painting looks intimidating, but for doors it’s pretty easy, since you only have to worry about 2-3 bones: the transformBone and whichever bind_door swing there is. These areas may be flood-filled as mentioned in the tutorial by selecting all the faces and hitting Shift-K. The parts of the door that swing should be red (100% assigned), and static parts should be blue. On the transform bone, the opposite is true - red for static, blue for moving. Hope this at least gets you started!

Thank you but I am worried that Sims 4 Studio can ONLY take models made with Blender 2.70 - 2.79 and not anything beyond that but I want to be sure that I CAN use blender 3.6 to make these windows
