retexture not showing up in game

I am attempting to recolor rugs by replacing the diffuse texture but when I go into the game the item is invisible when i try to place it. i am making sure that the image is exactly the same size as the original texture, and it shows up just fine in s4s. I have done this exact process before and have not had a problem with it. Can anyone help?
