sims4studio.com/thread/1466/tutorial-converting-accessorys-glassI somewhat followed the above tutorial in order to make custom earrings have a transparent glass piece. I have successfully turned the part I want to into glass, it's transparent in game. However, the upper part of the earring (which I added a metal texture to) appears solid black in game. As if I did not add in my texture. How can I fix this? HERE is the package file. (removed access since the issue is fixed)

Hi, looks like you have more than 2 uv on the upper metal part. Delete uv_0 & rename uv_2 to uv_0. The spherical part on the bottom also have more than 2 uv, delete uv_2. S4S only reads uv_0 & uv_1. For the uv_1 of both mesh try looking at maxis earring, make sure the uv_1 position is the same place as the maxis one just to be on the safe side. For transparent shader I think you need to put a normal map (empty normal map is ok) so it looks correct in game, i might be wrong on this so maybe others can verify this.
Edit: don't forget to delete unused vertex group, delete everything except b_Head__
