I'm having an issue with S4Studio Star but I cannot add a bug report. I'm not allowed to. Because I don't know how to solve this issue I will ask here. Yes I did read this thread sims4studio.com/thread/24228Sorry, If I'm posting in a wrong section but Star does not work as it should on my pc and I need help.  I have no clue where else to ask but here.  Those are the steps I tried - I removed the old version from my pc
- Installed latest Star version
- I opened Avast and made the changes according to the thread 24228
- Tried to open Avast and I keep getting the same error as seen here Avast
- I restarted the PC but issue persists
- Opened Star (Error message pops up and the Body-Mesh is missing) as seen here Missing Bodymesh
- Here is proof that I did add S4S Star to Allowed Software. And Ransomware is checked Settings Allowed
I don't know whatelse I can do. In worst case I need to remove it and install Wish but I want to use the newer Blender and I need
the Star Version to work.
Can someone please help?

Tell us where s4s is installed on your computer and share the paths in s4s settings please

But it does not happen with Wish tho. Wish works smooth but I try to get Star to work as intented. I removed Star and cleanded the files. It doesn't matter how often I remove and add S4S Star to the Allow-List. I turned the Virus Protection off in order to see if it still happens and I keep getting this error. I did install Wish (it works without issues): Here is also the Path of the Wish Version! I removed WISH and I did try to install Star again same issue. The paths are indentical.
Wish VersionC:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\ C:\Users\bionibots\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\blender.exe Star VersionC:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\ C:\Users\bionibots\Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4 C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation\Blender\blender.exe  It's confusing something doesn't add up here.  |

Your paths are correct but we also need to know where s4s star is installed on your computer. For example, it must not be installed in Documents, Downloads, desktop, TS4 game files, Blender files It should be either in program files or somewhere on the d drive

Sorry for my late reply. Here is the answer!
Sims4Studio
C:\Program Files (x86)\Sims 4 Studio
Game
C:\Program Files\EA Games
Blender
C:\Program Files\Blender Foundation
S4S is saved in "Program Files (x86)" Folder
Game and Blender are in Program Files without the (x86)
Installed by default I did not say where to save it.

everything seems to be correct. Judging by the fact that the body is missing, s4s cannot access the game files. Try this: - close s4s, delete sims 4 studio folder from documents; - start again, it will prompt you to set up the paths again, do that, it will re-index; - if this wont work, close again and do what is said here in both replies |

Holy Moly, it worked! Gosh, I could cryyyyy!  I'm so happy now, it finally works. This is the first time for me that the Star version works! Thank you, thank you, thank you!  Star could finally index and find the files. Everything works fine now!  The link you gave me? Made me try something else first. I removed S4S and made a fresh installation with run as administrator. Instead of giving later the needed permission, I made sure to install it with admin rights right from the start. And S4S is able to access now the game files. Avast is not blocking either so I don't need to add it to the allow list now.  Thank you so much mauvemorn for your amazing support and help to go through this step by step!  I'm freakn' happy now, yay!  And I'm super excited to experiment now in Blender!  |

It's confusing something doesn't add up here. 
I'm so happy now, it finally works. This is the first time for me that the Star version works!
