Hello, so im fairly new to blender and ive recolored a base game object with a material, then "saved as" the default .blend file. ive followed a few tutorials and baking is not clear to me, but most of blender is. but Simsina saved a simple edit of a shelf in blender and imported the mesh right into s4s by just saving as and not having to bake it or anything, which i cant do. I havent been able to do the same thing. In fact, neither wishes, nor star would allow me to import a mesh as it did months prior. It loads after pressing import and selecting my file, but never changes and the load wheel just goes away and it never changes at all. I downloaded star and im using blender 3.6, is this a known issue? Or is it me? Please tell me what im doing wrong? Thank you. -Sprinkles<3

Hi. Just in case there is a misunderstanding, if your goal is to simply recolor an item, you do not need to use blender at all. If you have already used Blender's Compositor to recolor it, you just save the resulting image and import it back in s4s, without importing the blend. If you wanted to retexture it, you could also do that in an image editor. But if you did this by changing the shader, then you do need to bake it. However, again, there is no need in re-importing the blend
You need to import the blend only if you modified the uvs or the shape
Regardless, we would need to see the files or your s4s settings to provide any specific instructions
