I have a lot of cc and recolors that require meshes. I believe I have all the meshes. But when I open S4Studio, the recolor is invisible. If I merge the recolor with the mesh and then do it again for another recolor, is that mesh now a dupe? If so, how do I get my meshes to show up on my recolor S4Studio window so I can see my recolored outfit? And does merging a mesh and a recolor blend the outfit so the recolor is now visible? It was still invisible when I tried it, so maybe I did it wrong? The recolors work fine in-game, but if I accidently remove the mesh, I can't recall which recolor it goes to so am unable to play with that recolor again. A lot of my historical outfits fall into this category.

Hi. In short, no, none of it is possible with s4s in a convenient way.
To include the mesh: - put the original package in C:\Users\(username)\Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods; - close s4s, if opened, open again; - open the recolor package with My projects; - Tools - Modding - Embed externally referenced resources. Now this package is standalone because it contains the mesh. As you see, this is not a convenient or reasonable way of doing it.
What you need is this
