Im trying to texture my shorts and it looks really wierd and parts of the mesh aren't coloured properly. Is there a specific way i am supposed to be unwrapping my object in blender. how do i fix this?

Hi. If youre talking about the inner thigh poking through the shorts, it is the remnants of the original mesh. The item you started the package from is made of multiple meshgroups while yours has only one, so only one was replaced while the rest stayed. There are certain underwear that are made of one meshgroup, so filter the catalog by the number of meshgroup, clone that underwear and import your blend there
As for the area of the side of the shorts, we would need to see the package

I also can't find how you filter by the mesh groups so would it work if i cut my mesh to the same number of mesh groups of the one im appending because im also having issues with the mesh not moving properly in the game. package file

ah, no, that is not what i assumed from the picture. Your texture just does not match the uvs In uv editor select all uvs and assign your current texture to the background to see what i mean
also, unrelated to the problem, but the weights arent transferred right, uv_1 was not transferred at all and the mesh is vertex painted with the wrong color ( should be 00FF00 )
