Hi! I'm relatively new to retexturing and editing meshes and I've run into a problem that I can't find a solution to or know if is even possible. I'm editing a mesh of a helmet that previously covered the whole face to have a transparent shield. I was able to get the transparency to work by taking the visor from the Skywalker helmet and stretching it out, but the problem is that the helmet I'm editing gets it's texture from the face section of the CAS UV ( imgur.com/a/lONrXK6). Not an issue when the face is covered, but now it's uncovered. So the helmet texture gets displayed on both the helmet and the face like this: imgur.com/a/Qr8TUvo And when I remove the texture from the face UV, the helmet displays the face instead like this: imgur.com/a/MQOIptZ Is there a way I can redirect where the helmet takes its texture from? Like from an accessory slot? Or is there another solution to this problem? Additionally, is there a way to have the hair still show? I can see that the helmet also takes its textures from the hair UV slot, but is there a way to override that? And if so would that cause issues with the hair texture, and if it does, is there a solution to that? I know it's kind of a lot, but if anyone has any advice it would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much! I ended up figuring it out on my own and felt so dumb that it was such a simple fix.
