I would like to know if it's possible to make a wallpaper that's partly transparent. What I want to make is just a molding and baseboard wallpaper that I can overlay onto another wallpaper (that doesn't have the molding and baseboard)
I've tried just making the section transparent and it looks okay in Sims 4 Studio but in game it's black. Can I fix this? Is this even possible?

Wallpaper itself can't be made transparent, for what you are looking for are overlays like from the vampire or werewolf gamepack or like from the basement kit.
Its not hard to make for basegame so you don't need to buy the packs or kit.

D'you know what, it struck me that I had inadvertantly taught myself to make wallpapers so I've been adding baseboards and crown moldings to wallpapers as and when I need them. But thank you for offering!
