Hello! This is my first post on here so apologies if I make any mistakes. I am very new to CC making and have just started learning how to make hairs. Although I haven't been completely successful, I have been practicing a lot and had a question about EA Hair Meshes. I have been frankenmeshing with base game hairs and different packs and my question is, If I use a segment from a hair and attach it to a base game hair; for example, if I use a bang segment from the Snowy Escape EP and combine it with a base game hair and I upload the package file for download, will the person have to own that EP in order for the hair to work?
Thank you!

Hi. It’s a matter of what the package contains. Example 1: - you reshape a snowy escape hair and replace the original meshes in the package; - the textures stay unedited and referenced, not included in the package. - people need snowy escape to use this hair because of those referenced texture.
Example 2: - you replace the bangs of a BG hair with that of snowy escape one; - you change the meshes and the textures; - now this file requires no snowy escape at all because all resources it needs are included.
You can add a pack requirement to this file. However, the last time I checked, the files still showed up.
