I'm trying to get a lamp set up, but it's been a long time since I've made any lighting CC and I'm running into a problem I remember running into last time, but I can't remember how I fixed it then and nothing I'm doing now is solving it. This is what it looks like beside the lamp it was cloned from: imgur.com/a/IGJeolRI followed the lamp tutorial, it has vertex painting, and I adjusted the light's position in the warehouse. When I change the colour/dim it in game, it changes the light all over to whatever colour. I tried dimming it in s4s but it has no effect. Does anyone know what I need to do to get the lighting to not be all over the mesh? I have tried adjusting the weight painting to be darker (there are plenty of areas on the mesh that have black vertex painting) and it made no impact.

Hi. It sounds like the file is not being imported or you’re seeing a different version of the package make sure that the package you’re importing the file in is in the mods folder If it is, try importing the blend elsewhere, just to see if it is being imported If everything is ok, could you share your blend and package files please?

Thank you for your reply! I managed to solve it, I dug around in blender trying to find anything that was off, and for some reason the vertex map was set to Vertex>Colour and I noticed on the EA mesh it was Face Corner>Byte Colour, so I did a quick test and deleted my previous vertex paint and filled in the bulb white and checked in game, and it works now. The bad news is I have to repaint it, but I think this might be a new issue because I'm using the latest S4S beta build with Blender 3.3 and importing my mesh from Houdini (where I also do the painting), but it is solved! I figured I'd post this in case anyone else is also using Houdini for modelling and runs into this issue on newer versions.
