Hello! I hope you can help me, please. In August I made one of Margot Robbie's outfits in the Barbie movie, which contains a pleated dress.... The dress is the first thing I made and shared it.... Well, to me in the game it looks perfectly fine, without any problem, however, in the thumbnail of the gallery appears a tip, like a glitch, but I did not give importance because within the gameplay does not appear. In Curseforge, I received a comment some time ago from a user who told me the following: "Downloaded the set 3 days ago, but I think the dress seems to be glitching, other wise really cool set:)" As I am Spanish speaking and barely understand the basics of English, I had to translate it and the message was not very clear to me. I asked him if he was "Glitching" only in the gallery or if it was happening inside the game, but he never answered. Today I received a new comment from another user informing me of the error as well, with the following: "I downloaded the set a while back and tried it out around the hem of the skirt is spiked outward. Has the issue been fixed yet because I reallyyyyyyyy love this set. ;u;" Reason I understand that, yes, there is definitely a bug with my in-game mesh, and I wish I could resolve it. ...but, I open the mesh in Blender and I don't see anything strange! Everything seems to be correct, the uv 0, and the uv 1. Sincerely I don't know what it is due to and as the problem doesn't come out to me either, it is very complicated for me to be able to find the problem. Please, someone who can help me to solve it. Hi. We do not create a package from scratch. We make a copy of an existing item and replace some content in it. Each of these packages is tuned in a specific way. Disregarding this results in these type of problems. You cloned a maxis item yfBody_GP03DressFlower, which is made of 4 meshgroups. You deleted 3 of them from the blend and the package, leaving only one. That remaining meshgroup was in the calf area, affected by only one bone. You replaced it with an entire body, affected by many bones. So some of these bones are distorting. You must recreate the original structure of the package. A meshgroup in the calf area must be replaced with a meshgroup in a calf area, etc. - open the blend; - select all parts of the body, separate them with P - Selection; - append a reference in the scene; - transfer weights and uv_1 with nearest face interpolated; - transfer vertex paint because dresses are painted with two colors; - join back with the body, save; - clone yfBody_DressPanels, import the blend there and everything else

I have followed the steps, but now the dress is deformed at the bottom of the skirt: I don't know if it is vertex paint, I used the code #3fff00.

The dress must be painted with 3FFF00 only in the skirt and breast area, not everywhere. Now the body is painted with it as well. Paint the whole mesh with 00FF00, separate the dress and transfer vertex paint instead The item you chose as a reference must have been tighter than this dress, so there is no smooth transition from thigh bones in between the legs

I tried many times and even had mistakes where the dress danced on the body that was deformed from the sim hahaha. Today I've been trying again, with another mesh, and it's the best I've gotten, even, when fattening it looks much better than with the original mod, but, it gets some small deformations in the skirt both in the front and back when the sim makes some movements or poses. I was trying to fix it with the weight paint, making it colder, and nothing, I also tried making it hot, and still, it didn't work! I put the green #00FF00 on the whole mesh, then I separated the front part of the chest of the dress and the whole skirt and painted them with #3FFF00 and then joined them together. I honestly don't know what gives error anymore. You need to transfer weights exactly like this, with Nearest face interpolated and Limit total This transaction does not look smooth see how far the paint is spread here? How blurred the transition between colors is? This is what you need
