I'm trying to add a new bone to a custom mesh from EA to be used in animations, but when I import it back into S4S I get an error saying: "Your mesh s4studio_mesh_1 has a vertex group _my_bone that is not part of the mesh that you are replacing."
This is my process: 1. Create 3D mesh in S4S 2. Select a debug item 3. Add a new bone in the Rig/Slots tab 4. Export the mesh 5. Add the bone to the vertex groups in Blender 6. Import back to S4S -> error
I was more or less following this tutorial, except I wasn't using a sims rig. sims4studio.com/post/84329/thread
Why isn't it working?
