- switch to edit mode; - in uv editor enable sync; - press B, select uvs of legs; - in 3d view press P, choose Selection

You select the garment and rebake the texture as shown in the video tutorial you linked
It would have been faster to just remove that area in the image editor, though

Cause I tried that and it didn't work. I wanted to remove the legs in blender cause I thought that if I didn't they would continue to conflict with the other clothing.

Uvs cannot be edited this way. You remove the skin texture of legs that baked into the image in the image editing program. if this is not what you meant, provide files please

You remove the skin texture of legs that baked into the image in the image editing program. if this is not what you meant, provide files please Sorry, I meant that I wanted to remove the legs in blender because I was worried the legs would cause color conflicting issues with other cas items since they were in the bottom area on the uv template. I'm trying to turn a clothing bottom into an accessory. If the legs won't cause a color conflict please tell me, then I will just erase them from the texture in photoshop or gimp.

The clothing did separate from the legs so thats progress.

I'm a little confused by your reply, are you saying to just remove it from the texture in gimp or photoshop? I actually tried that and then I tested it in game and it actually still conflicted with the clothing bottom.
