I finally figured out how to make my own poster mesh and I've created my first swatch with it but I noticed my other swatches are also linked to the same mesh (even when i try uploading a different one). I was wondering how I could do a different mesh for each of my swatches since I've seen other creators do something like this when creating their own posters (example: atomiclight.tumblr.com/post/653269221589024768/just-a-small-set-2000s-inspired-retro-posters-and) Sorry if the solution is really simple to my question as I'm new to meshing :(

They're not using different meshes, it's the same mesh but with different textures.
They're using a flat mesh (often just 2 triangles, either no backing or mirrored), and putting an alpha-enabled texture onto it (a texture with an invisible background).

Oh okay, that makes sense. I also noticed that for some of their swatches they have multiple images overlapping each other...If i were to do the same, would I combine the images in a different program like photoshop and then put those textures into Blender on a flat mesh? Or is it all done in Blender?
Scratch all of that lol. I was messing around with a photo editor and blender, and also used a kids stencil mesh instead of a poster mesh and I think I've got the results I want now. Thank you for helping me, I appreciate it❤️

You can do it in Photoshop (lets you layer different images and adjust them to your liking. You can also save a PSD and do changes later, or use the same graphics to make different swatches with the images in different positions or by combining them in different ways).
Not entirely sure what the texturing tools in Blender allow for (I mostly use Photoshop for texturing).
