this is what your garment looks like in my game
The body does not connect to other parts because the rig was moved. You can just delete the rig the garment is attached to to fix this
The mesh looks darker because of incorrectly made shadow and normal maps
There are a few unrelated problems:
- 3FFF00 is a color meant for the skirt area, not the whole garment. It is always best to transfer vertex paint;
- when closing holes, do it like this: select the edge loops, press E
once, then S, scale it down,
Alt M - Collapse. You seem to have pressed E twice, so there is a row of unnecessary faces. Also, collapsing them will reduce the polycount in half;
- should split sharp edges before baking textures or importing the blend into s4s;
- you should always use a similar in shape maxis garment as a reference. There is no need in subdividing it, just change the settings
- You should always import your garment into a blend file s4s created, not an empty scene. The rig with body parts should be in the scene
Do this:
- clone yfBody_Chemise, export the blend;
- rename the original meshgroup to Reference;
- append Blue Bodymesh V2 into the scene;
- delete bone_bone_shape and
rig.001, the mesh will go back to its original pose;
- select your garment, in edit mode select everything and Remove doubles;
- in uv editor enable sync, select those holes, in 3d view press Alt M - collapse;
- select all body parts in uv editor as well, separate them with P - Selection;
- select your garment again, add data transfer, transfer vertex groups and uv_1 with these settings, apply;
- then transfer vertex paint;
- switch to Edit mode, select everything, in the side panel expand Weight tools, then do Clean with All groups, then Limit total with 4;
- join the body with the garment
- split sharp edges
- delete the reference, save, import back into chemise
As for maps, you should export them from the chemise's package to see what they are meant to be like, then recreate. Here are tutorials for hair (
normal and
shadow), the only difference is that you focus on a different region
