im trying to move furniture from sims 4 studio into paint 3d so i can get high resolution images of the furniture, my current work flow attempt is s4s select furniture i want a high res image of export the mesh open it in blender where it apears to have its textures export to .obj (the only file type the sims4 blender can export that paint 3d can use) then use insert in paint 3D it asks if i want to import texture file, selected the folder with the mtl it inserts it as a untextured furniture.
if anyone knows how to get a textured model from s4s to paint 3d i would greatly appriciate that infomation
i think the issue is blender isnt putting out the textures file when exporting as obj as the chair is textured in the .blend file, export settings pictured below
High res image example

I've never used Paint 3D but I found an article that says you can import a texture in PNG form. Why not export the texture from Blender as a PNG and use that? I don't know if Paint 3D would preserve the UV layout of your mesh, however. I found comments of people saying it did not. If you just need screenshots you can render an image in Blender. I can't help much with that as I'm in the process of learning this myself. If you want to paint directly on the mesh you can do that in Blender, as well. And I recently read something about a free app called Quixel Mixer which I think lets you import a mesh and texture it. Don't know anything about using it to render but they have a video here:
