I'm following a tutorial that was posted on the S4Studio forums ( sims4studio.com/thread/871/finish-object-tutorial-absolute-beginners) and while I use blender version 3.6, the tutorial linked uses version 2.7. I got through the entire first part of the tutorial and some steps of the second part fine even with the differing versions but on step 59 where I have to get the checkerboard on my mesh in 3D view, I cannot find the shading menu - multitexture even with googling to see if there was an equivalent in 3.6. I've tried to complete the second part of the tutorial with blender 2.7 like the tutorial does but I'm more well versed and comfortable with 3.6 and have most of my projects in this version as well. If pictures are needed, I can try to attach them somehow

Hi. You just need to plug this texture into the material - create a new material with + button; - click on the yellow dot next to Base color, choose Image texture; - in the drop down choose the image you created; - make sure you are in the Material preview or Solid with Texture enabled
