Hello all,
I've had something rolling around in the back of my head and I was curious if someone had done something like it before or not already, but after reading some isekai manga (don't groan too much over that), I wondered if anyone made a "Reincarnation" spell in Sims 4. (Not Ressurection, I'm not talking about 'bring back the dead', I'm talking 'resetting the clock.)
To be clear, I'm not talking about a 'reborn in another world' sorta thing either (even though I mentioned isekai).
More of a different type of "immortality"/inheritable trait farming support.
I figure the spell's logic would be something like:
Rank: Master
Magic type: Wild
Target: Any sim
Effect: Sim gains "Ready to step through time" moodlet for the next 6 hours (24 on overcharge), if they woohoo with an impregnable sim, the target will disappear (die with no ghost) and the impregnable sim will be pregnant with a baby of the same gender as the target of the spell.
Spell failure: Caster dies.
I figure the child would be born with an inherited trait on top of any normal ones like a bloodline power. (Figured a flat general xp boost would be the easiest way to create a 'they've been here before' effect.)
Weak Bloodline equivalent, "Second Time Around": +20% skill experience gain
Magic Bloodline equivalent, "True Reincarnator": +50% skill experience gain
Ancient Bloodline equivalent, "Ancient Reincarnator": +100% experience gain
Anyways, that's sorta just how my brain is looking at this, Let me know if there's something like this out there, or at least could find a few guides so I could maybe try to take a crack at it.
