I am created an object using the S4Studio Recolorables box 1x1 as a starting point. I have imported my mesh and textures. I want to edit the specular for both textures but when I go to the Warehouse tab, I'm not sure how to tell which DST file is which. How can I tell when the DST files in a package aren't obvious in their appearance?
Package file:
file.io/Na4mbb78uiHvThanks!
Hi, here are the instance numbers for the textures in this particular package:
Frame (Phong):
specular: BCFD79EFEF802B2A
diffuse: E026797DFE87320D
normal: B0BFBDB8B1729B4B
Glass (GlassForObjectsTranslucent):
specular: 8C6D01208954763D
diffuse: E2176C5905C8C1F8
normal: F49F7C9EDD71AF37
Not sure if there's an easier way, but I had to look at the model's material entry to find them. Here's how I did it:
1. In the Warehouse tab click on Model, then on the right by Lods click the Edit Items button.
2. Click High Detail flags, then on the right by Meshes click Edit Items.
3. Click on Phong, which is used for solid parts like the frame. On the right, scroll down to Material>Resource>Entries>Edit Items.
4. Click on the VariantID that says Set1 (the "Default" one, not "Burnt" variant). On the right scroll down to Material>MaterialBlock>Edit Items.
A window will appear that lists the instance numbers for the specular and normal linked to the frame (Phong) part. To find the textures for the glass part, repeat the steps except at step 3 choose GlassForObjectsTranslucent instead of Phong.
Hope this helps - Your object looks nice!
