Hello! I am no longer able to use studio.exportall on S4S for some packages.
I am running 14.1.1(1) on a M2 MacBook Pro with macOS Sonoma (14.2.1).
I have been using the latest beta of S4S for a month or two. I recently ran across an issue when trying to use studio.exportall. If an item has a few swatches, it exports fine. If there are a lot of swatches, it hangs with the export animation and never finishes. In the folder with the exported files, it usually puts like the first 6 swatches and associated items in there fine but that's it. I have not tested importing, mostly because I just figured out this morning how to work around the issue. The workaround is to make a copy of the original package, remove all but 6 swatches, and export in batches. This isn't ideal with larger packages with 10+ swatches.
This has not happened on older versions of S4S, but rolling back would remove some of the compatibility with the latest packs. The issue seems to occur with both items native to the game and custom content.
Is this a known issue and is there a resolution? If so, great. If not, I am willing to provide any data you need for review to resolve the problem in future releases. Thank you so much for your hard work and awesome product.

The Robot-Head Dresser from High School Years is the one I was looking at this morning. But it's also done this with some CC I downloaded and wanted to recolor for personal use.

Hi, any thoughts on this? I'm having luck on some items but others hang after exporting a handful of files. I'm in IT, so I've been trying to troubleshoot what I can. There doesn't seem to be a pattern in what works and what doesn't. One item might export half the swatches/files, another might do three, and another might work fine. This started recently, potentially with the latest version of S4S on macOS 1.14.1.1(1). I did not have the problem with previous versions. I would rather not downgrade to a lower version because it wouldn't include support for later expansions.
Is there a log file I can look at to see what's happening? Apple spits out a report once I force quit, but it's super long and even with my background, I can't make sense of it. Thank you!

Hi granwalla, Sorry to get back to you so late. I was able to replicate this on 1.4.1.1 with the robot dresser. I made a change for the next release that should fix this. Thanks for reporting and providing an example that fails.

I'm sorry, I totally missed your reply. Thank you! I'm so glad you were able to replicate the issue and figure out a fix. Do you know when the next release will be that includes the fix? It is still exhibiting the same behavior in 1.4.1.2 (1).
If you need an example, I tried exporting the Maximalist’s Dream Sofa from Decor To The Max. I left it for about 30 minutes and I only got 6 swatches before having to force quit. Thanks!

granwalla I thought the fix was in 1.4.1.2, though I'm still unsure why the fix worked except that I rolled back an unneeded change that didn't seem likely to cause a problem and could no longer replicate the problem after doing so. I don't have Decor to the Max to try that object, but I tried the robot dresser again with the last uploaded S4S and it had no problem exporting the 15 swatches and 6 blend files. When I first looked at this, I think it was failing while exporting the mesh, but I am on a different version of Blender now, so that may affect the issue.

Hi granwalla, I think this may be fixed in the latest version of Aurora (1.4.1.3). Please let me know if it does not fix things for you. This has been a very difficult problem to track down since it never happens to me in the test builds I use while making Studio, and only happens to me about 1 in 5 times after installing it even with 50+ swatches in the package.

Hey andrew sorry to bring up an old thread but this problem has happened to me consistently for the past year (and I continuously update my s4studio app). I am running a Macbook Pro 14 inch on Sequoia 15.0.1 and my studio version is on Aurora 1.4.2.6. When I do the studio.exportall what happens is that it remains stuck on the spinning wheel and the message "batch export," and then the mac spinny wheel of death appears and the studio app becomes non-responsive and I have to force quit it. The most that the process gets through is making the batch export folder and importing like 1 or 2 swatches and maybe the mesh but never the entire content. Here's a link to the most recent item (a recolor of the seasons umbrella stand) that I tried and failed to export: drive.google.com/file/d/16CFz_K2vVrbpjJWSyYCtkEdnw4a2xexw/view?usp=sharing. I also just tried it on the base game "Caress Chair" and the same thing happens- it exported the first two swatches and then proceeded to get stuck and I had to force quit.
