I'm creating a harness for a dog and the specular is turning my item black when the diffuse is two shades of green.
What could be causing that?

Hi. It sounds like you are using a hq mod but is not making your cc hq mod compatible. Default sizes: Diffuse and shadow: 2048x1024 Specular: 1024x512 To make them hq mod compatible, double each number (so your specular should be 2048x1024) If this is not the case or won’t help, please share your package file

No I'm not doing HQ Mod, I should have given more info. Here is the file link. It's the right size Dog Harness

The default sizes are: Diffuse and shadow: 2048X1024 Specular: 1024X512 Normal: 512X1024
In your case, the diffuse is 1024X2048 While your specular isn't exactly made correctly ( it will be blindingly bright, check how the original is made ), it is not the cause of this problem. I assume that theres a dependency between diffuse and specular sizes specifically, so when the specular is of the wrong size ( like, not half the diffuse's size ), ts4 acts up

Yep I changed the size and it's working now. I usually make clothes so I didn't realize the maps can be different sizes. Note to self always check the small details when making something new. I want it to look plastic.
