Hello! I'm new to the forum, but I already made some CC by using Sims 4 Studio. I usually do facial hair (eyebrows, mustaches, etc). But now, I'm trying to do a facial scar, using a facial paint as base. When I see the result of my creation in the Sims 4 Studio, it looks OK, but once I use it in the game, it looks shiny and with some "sparkling" things around the sim face. It also overrides another make-up (in this case, a custom eye color). I'm not sure if I have to edit something in the Warehouse or in the game configuration lol, and how do I do to make it "layerable". I tried to change the composition method from 0 to 1, but it shows the eyebrows, and I don't want them to be shown while wearing this "mask". I'm sorry for my bad English. I put some images to explaining. These are not his eyes, he had another eyes from the make-up section. What should I do? Thank you!

Hi. Did you edit a specular map? Hi! Thank you for your answer. Yes, I edited a specular map. Maybe I shouldn't do it??

there are some specs here and there ( this is the first file, not the mask, i flooded the background so that you could see the selection)

Thank you!!! It looks quite better now! But I still see it too shiny (especially in his forehead, near of the hairline), since it's intended to be a scar, I wish it could look more opaque. I can't figure out how to do it... Link to the new package. Also, I'm not sure how to make it layerable, I mean, when I use this scar, the contanct lenses disappear. Thank you for your time

Your specular map is too strong. Usually we sample a specular’s color from a maxis item that has similar shine to what we want and recreate it. So your first specular file would be dark red or dark green instead of white and almost transparent. Here’s an example of how speculars are made: sims4studio.com/post/193497As for layering, these items must be in different categories (so not both in facial scar category). They should also have nothing (just zeroes ) in ExcludePartFlags (Warehouse tab, CAS part, write Exclude in the search bar to the left)

Thank you so much for the explanation and your time!!! I finally decided to remove the specular, and it looks fine now but I'll test it with a green / red specular map too. Thanks again!
