Yo what is up my fellow simmers!, A few days ago I wanted to try making CC hair for the first time so I went online and followed an online tutorial on how to make CC hair. I thought I did everything right until the hair did not import right onto the sim in sims 4 studio. What happens is I import it after making sure the important like weights, GEOMS, LOD (ect.) are done and the hair appears but its not on the sim and its just on the ground in front of the sim but the textures and the hair look pretty ok like they are supposed to. I tried redoing the data transfer and making sure I had u_0 and 1 and rechecked my LOD after decimating them but I cant seem to figure out the issue. If anyone has a solution and could possibly point out where I went wrong I would greatly appreciate it and would gladly like to hear any useful info or tips to avoid this scenario again!

Hi. You transformed the hair in Object mode, then in Edit mode, and s4s does not welcome that for some reason - open the blend, select all meshgroups of the hair, Object - Apply - All transforms to delta; - save, try importing again; - if wont work, delete two meshgroups; - in object mode Add - Plane, leave it as is; - in this order: select the hair, shift-select Plane, join with Ctrl J; - switch to edit mode, select the plane, Delete - Faces; - duplicate the hair twice, give them different cuts, save, import back into s4s
You'll have to re-make lods

Ahh I see don't know how I did that but thx for telling and I appreciate that you responded so quickly. So I tried the delta route but I don't know if i did it correctly but when i put it into Sm4S this time it did move the hair but it was kinda under the sims this time and it showed the other hair on the sim of the mesh I was trying to replace if that make sense I will put the image for that as well. After that I tried the other route you recommended where you put plane and delete the face after joining and that one was the closest to working. It did put the hair in the right place which was super cool but the hair looked partly see-through after i joined the plate and hair mesh so I was wondering what was causing that issue and after that I believe that should be the last thing to fix (and just wanted to say if I did it wrong sorry for the inconvenience and thx again for the help many thx)

In edit mode select everything with A, press your space bar, type in Recalculate normals, choose this option
If won’t help, share the blend file please
