Hello,
When data transferring alpha hair everything seems to be going correctly until I get to step 17 "Expand Color attributes. If you see color0, it transferred". Mine isn't showing color0 but before that step 16 says if uv_1 appears it most likely transferred correctly and my uv_1 did appear and I checked the weights and they did transfer to my mesh. Am I able to manually add color 0 or it has to come up on its own? I also did not use a sims 4 default hair to data transfer because my hair is long, so I did use an already made s4 hair and I had to also manually add "uv_1" to the reference before I did the data transfer since it did not come with uv_1 like a default hair does. I don't know if that affects anything.

You may have forgotten to hold Shift while selecting uvs. In that post it is steps 9-10 Check if the reference has color0 in the first place, if not, then, like i said in a private message, do not use cc hair as a reference. Use the longest maxis hair, it will be better than a cc hair that isn’t properly adapted
also, there is no point in manually adding uv_1 if the reference does not have it. Uv_1 differs from uv_0, it is not just a copy. If the reference does not have it, your hair will not have the right data either

So sorry, I did not notice the message! I do remember clicking that but I'm assuming the problem is the cc hair. I will redo by using a default instead.
