I'm trying to allow a hat to be available for female frames. I've switched the tags in categories and when that didn't work I looked around for the reason. Someone said the creator can sometimes lock the frame... is there a way to unlock whatever that is? I'm willing to edit the mesh if that's the only way.

Hi. - open this package with My projects; - In Categories tab, under Gender and age, enable both Female and Male; - Apply to all swatches; - scroll down until Fashion choice, enable both, apply to all swatches; - scroll to the bottom, under Part flag, disable all, apply to all swatches

Well, this is a recolor, it requires the original to function, so i cannot check it in-game myself. Make sure that you have both this package and the original one in your C:\Users\----\Documents\Electronic Arts\ The Sims 4\Mods If you do, try removing all these tags beside Custom If still no luck, share the original file

there seems to be something wrong with how this recolor package was created, i got it to show up only after remaking - copy the original package in Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods, paste it in Documents\Sims 4 Studio\Mods; - close s4s if was opened; - open again, go into catalog, filter by custom, select this hat, overwrite your recolor file in Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Mods; - change the tags as before, import your textures; - check in-game, should work now
Also, do you plan on sharing your file with others? If no, theres no need in making a new package, just modify the original one
