could someone please help me I have been stuck on this project for hours, I was trying to convert a child sweater to teens and when I import the edited mesh it has the teen mannequin and the child mannequin please help me

Hi. Switch to Categories, under Age and Genders disable Child, enable Teen and Male, apply to all swatches. Scroll down, under Age appropriate enable Teen only, apply to all swatches.
If the avatar wont update, save the package, go back to main menu, open this package again under My projects

Thank you for responding so fast, so I tried this and when I saved the package and reopened it, it still look the same did I do something wrong in blender this is my first project

Then, most likely, this package file had more meshgroups than the blend file you imported in. Only one was replaced while others stayed.
You need to split your garment in the same exact way the original was or clone a garment made of one meshgroup
