Hi I created a pillow (well still working on it) but I brought it in game to test it. I used ea pencil cup bc I seen a thread and someone used it. But my pillow only sits on desks/tables. I seen a thread about the footprint so I changed it so it has all 0's. But im still stuck. Any help is much appreciated thank you

Couches don't have deco slots. Tables do, but not couches. I think you'd need an OMSP if you want to put a pillow on a couch. Don't change the footprint. It won't help. It's not a footprint problem, it's the lack of slots on couches.

Easiest way (if you only want it to work with couches, and not be placeable on floor/beds/etc.) is to make the pillow floating in couch-height, so you can place it without an OMSP.
For multi-purpose, place at floor height and use an OMSP for placement.

Ahhhh ok that makes sense. I adjusted the height but what is a osmp? lol. I've tried so many things can you take a look at my package n blend file. I'm having a issue with how it looks in game when it looks so well in s4s. I pm it to the both of you guys not sure who will be available.

It's a mesh that's invisible in live mode and that has slots so you can put things on it. You have to use the move objects cheat to place them if you need the OMSP to intersect with a couch or bed or whatever. I have a bunch that I made here. I haven't published them yet because I plan to make a bunch more. Edit: I should tell you how OMSPs work. Use the move objects cheat to place them, as I stated. My OMSPS have two swatches. One swatch is visible so that you can see where you're placing it, and the other is invisible. So, you place the OMSP and then switch to the invisible swatch before going back into live mode.

Yes, Fwecka I sent you my files did you get them? I did, yes. I haven't looked at the pillow in the game yet, but it looks good in Blender. The only thing I recommend is to reduce the polycount. Since the topology is good you can easily select every other edge loop and press X > dissolve edges. This is the best way, in my opinion, to make each LOD, too. Decimate will destroy your topology so I don't use it. If you enable sync in the UV editor you can select edge loops via the UV Editor, as well. Sometimes it's easier to grab edges, faces, or vertices in the UV editor. How did you make your texture? I'm curious. Editing to add: I just realized that you've got unmerged edges that aren't reflected in your UV islands. Select your mesh, enter edit mode, then M > by distance to remove the doubles. Then you can easily grab and dissolve edge loops. If you need to split edges again after removing the doubles enter edge selection mode, select one edge anywhere on your mesh, then select > select similar > seam. That will select the seams that you marked to unwrap your mesh. Mark these seams sharp, then you can use the edge split modifier to split the edges. You can uncheck "edge angle" if you want. It depends on how your mesh looks.

Ok I will do that thank you. I used substance painter to texture the pillow. But omg in game it looked mad weird. hopefully once I do this it looks somewhat better. I have been testing out different objects and things to create to see what I am best at. Some of the things I create in blender come out so well until I get in game lol

It's not the most useful for universality, but you can also add deco slots to couches to slot pillows to.

I have been testing out different objects and things to create to see what I am best at. Some of the things I create in blender come out so well until I get in game lol Thanks for telling me how you textured your mesh. I sometimes run across textures that look like yours (stretchy colors, if that makes sense) and I know these textures weren't made in Photoshop but never knew what software was used. Now I know! Substance Painter is baffling to me. But, then I'm just starting to learn Substance Painter and am such a noob at this point. Anyway, the pillow looks fine to me in the game. It's a little shiny but if you don't want that you can easily fix it by darkening your specular. If you don't want any shine at all make a pure black specular. The only other thing I can think of is to maybe tilt the pillow a little bit so that it's not sitting straight up and down. I mention this because the backs of couches and chairs in the game and in real life are tilted a little. But, it's your choice how you want to position the pillow. Regardless, no matter what you do the pillow is going to clip into some couches depending on the couch's shape so don't worry about that too much.

Ok thank you and thanks to your help I was able to get my pillow to come out great. Next time I will tilt them though as I can see what you mean. N learning substance painter was easier for me to learn then texturing in photoshop sounds crazy right lol it took me some time to adjust to everything. Again thank you, thank you, thank you
