Hello! Total newbie when it comes to creating mods for the Sims 4, never mind navigating Sims 4 Studio's more complex functions. I've been trying hide the deco shell buildings in Tartosa by following this guide on Tumblr: simplifiedmodding.tumblr.com/post/672940097923170304/tutorial-world-deco-object-hiders since I'd like to plae down other deco shell buildings and decorate the space to my liking. Unfortunately, it seems that while one swatch or version of the buildings gets hidden, the others remain. This is how it currently looks within my game: imgur.com/a/xua3SnFAs you can see, the hider .package files are only hiding one swatch or version of the shell, while the others remain. The bridal shop, general shop, and courthouse are perfectly hidden. If anyone has any advice on how to hide the rest of the shells, I would deeply appreciate it!

hey! my only suggestion is to use .world file to remove those deco shells.
- so first off, you have to find a folder named "Areas" in the GP11 folder, I find mine there: "C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\GP11\Worlds\Areas"
- then you have to open a ".world" file that is concerned with the part of the town you want to mess with (delete shells).
DON'T FORGET TO BACKUP THIS FILE IN CASE YOU MESS IT UP! - once you opened the file in s4s, you have to find "World data" and click on it. on the right you should click on the "Edit items..." button.
- in the newly opened window choose the last string and again, click on the "Edit items..." button.
- finally, now you have access to the deco world objects! you can remove them or even move them around the map. i also recommend you to check the names of the decorations in s4s (picking My Wedding Stories in "game pack" filter and putting a tick in "show debug items" filter box), if you're not sure what you are about to delete/
- do the same thing to the same ".world" file in the "Delta" folder, I find mine there: "C:\Program Files\EA Games\The Sims 4\Delta\GP11\Worlds\Areas" (sometimes I just copy the .world file from one folder to another)
btw, if you remove shells this way, you'll still have access to them in buy mode.
