So in the past I was editing the fringed male vest from Horse Ranch pack posted in THIS THREAD
I now noticed that when I put the vest on females, her boobs are getting kinda pointy and the fingers are getting a bit bigger and the nails then look all broken. I assume because the vest is only for males (male frame)
I would really like my female sim to be able to wear the fringed vest without all these issues. Can someone help me to archiv this, or is it not possible?

Hey! It's because male frame body looks different than female one, it tries to adapt to female but as you can see it's not perfect. Best would be to just convert this vest to female - remove all male body parts, replace with female one, match vest to female body, then do wieghts uv_1 etc. Personally I really do not like to convert clothes, it takes a lot of time to make them look good

Hi dissia, thanks for your answer. I never did convert clothing and therefore have no clue how to do this with blender. Sounds like lots of work. Gues I have to live with it, huh Would it make any difference I make the vest as an accessory? I guess not since it's still a male frame...

If you'll make it as an accessory then you have to move uv map somewhere where your vest won't overlap other clothes or accessories (probably have to make uv's smaller so lose a bit of quality), then make it suitable for female base body as you'll use other female tops and it's not going to match and change them like its whole top. Also make it double sided so it's not invisible inside, it's a lot of work too to make it works good

It would be less of work to make a top as an accessory since I do know how, not so how to convert clothing. Yeah the bad part is that you will lose a bit of quality since you have to move it to a different texture space. Hats is about the biggest but not suitable in my case since I like to use cowboy hats to go with it. So I'm not sure what I will do... I could also remove the shirt underneith so it could be waerable with other (tight) tops. Would the issue be gone if I do make it as an accessory for females?

Hi. To clarify, it does not matter what category your item belongs to, this does not affect how it morphs. When the breast area expands, there must be enough vertices for it to happen smoothly. Since the masculine chest has significantly less of them, it happens in a jagged manner. If you were to put this vest on people of different breast sizes in real life, the fringe would not change its thickness. In ts4, on the other hand, it would, because that’s how it should behave. When breasts become bigger, all accessories in the breast area follow, otherwise they will clip
The only way of making it function more or less good is to manually reshape the vest to fit the feminine frame. You most likely will need to add extra edge loops in the breast area or/and reduce the effect of breast bones on the mesh

Thanks mauvemorn . Actually only a few regular shaped females are wearing my edited vest version and it looks cute on them, but as mentioned, there is this edgy looking brest viewable from the side and the broken nails issue visible on closer look. The brest isn't really that bad looking but the fingers and nails which is why I asked if there is a way to "fix" this. Guess I have to live with it since I don't know how to convert the vest to female frame. It's a shame that EA did not make this vest a female version. They get lazier with each pack creation.
Edit to add a few pics of how it looks on my female:
