Hi. I have weird deformation on a long dress near legs on curvy sims. While on thin sims there is no distortion. I'm assuming it's something with uv_1, but I do not know what. I retransfered uv_1 couple times and the problem is still there. Please help.

Hi. Yes, it uv_1 - clone a maxis dress of similar length, export the blend, open, join all meshgroups into one, rename to Reference; - do not remove doubles on the reference, never do this for clothing; - append your dress into the scene; - select your dress, add data transfer, choose Reference as source object, set the rest like in the pics, apply - delete the reference, import back - for the future, do not transfer anything to nude body parts, they must be separated from the garment before you'll do that? It would be best to replace all of them on this garment as well

I transferred uv_1 like this with this item. Distortion was there. I tried one more time after your answer. The distortion is still there.

mauvemorn, sorry for wasting your time. Problem was in the mesh I was transfering from - for some reason it just did not occur to me that the length of the model from which the data is transferred is important too.
