Hello, this is my first time posting on any kind of forums so I'm very sorry if I am doing this wrong.
I am having problems with Blender and all the different versions. Every version I get of blender (2.7 and under) all look gray and look entirely different to every tutorial I've seen, but if I transport it into a newer version of Blender (4.0 or 3.1 or 3.6.1) which have the same look as the Blender in the video, then the mesh is all gray. I just always get the error message saying its not compatible with any version higher than 2.7 which is confusing me because everyone else has newer versions!!
Please please help!! | I have Sims 4 Studio Wishes, v3.1.6.3 | The look of Blender I am looking for is seen in 4.0 | I do have my Blender path set to the right place |

Hi. You're using incompatible versions of s4s and blender. Delete all of your versions of blender and s4s, install s4s beta and blender 3.6.7, change blender path in s4s settings to blender.exe in Blender 3.6.7 installation folder. How to do everything is explained here

For the solid gray issue, most likely it's the display option that's the problem (unless you've tried fixing this already?)
Have you checked the "display/shade" option in the viewport? In the old version it looks like an orb that's white or white with a red cross, with a dropdown list of options (not sure about the newer versions but it should be there, and likely looks somewhat similar).
If it's set to "Solid", the material won't show, and the model will just be solid grey. Set it to "textured", and the material/texture should show again.
