I recently tried to make a higher poly edit of a male torso I originally made from the base game mesh. I then weight painted CAS chest bones to it and I can get everything even within Blender but no matter how well I clean up the weights S4S keeps messing up the weight paints, even if I follow the steps in This Guide. This is how it all looks in Blender before I import into S4S: This is what happens if I import into S4S then export it again to make sure the weights stayed: I'm at my wit's end with this because it doesn't matter what version of Blender I use or how I paint the weights. I'm currently using 2.76b Blender.

At this point I'm unsure if the game just hates high vertex counts on body models or if my using the 'clean' function is not doing anything at all for the weight paints.

Hi. We would need to see the blend file. Most likely you are exceeded the number of vertex groups that can affect a single vertex (4).

Hi. We would need to see the blend file. Most likely you are exceeded the number of vertex groups that can affect a single vertex (4). I took another look after you mentioned that and I recall some of the weight paints were on the clavicle that didn't need to be. I tried the "Limit Total" option within blender and it cleaned up 26 vertices, after which I tested by importing into S4S and exporting to which I found the weird gap/empty space on the edge of my weight paints is no longer happening. Thanks.
