Moderator's edit: FIXED. Update your S4S.
This is pretty straightforward! My game just updated and whenever I try to create a new 3D mesh, this turns up. However, I believe I have the latest Studio version.   |

🔥 MARCH 1 UPDATE:
Folks, there IS a hotfix update for S4S Star as noted here by orangemittens: sims4studio.com/thread/34334/We were on v3.2.1.3 and we're now on v3.2.1.4. Please note the bit that says "EA added a new CAS texture with this stuff pack that is still not fully incorporated into Studio. That will be included in a subsequent update that will be out as soon as possible."
You also need to delete your "*\Documents\Sims 4 Studio" folder!

When I click on CAS, it says this: ---------------------- Please check for update CASPartResource version 49 is not supported. This most likely means that the game has patched beyond what this version of Studio supports. Please check for an updated version of Sims 4 Studio. ---------------------- How do I fix it? ![]() |

I read someone on the patch notes thread saying they have an update from the 27th of Feb - but the last one I have, and the last one I can find available to download, is the one from December, updated for the For Rent pack. And starting from today I'm receiving the same error message as others here. Very confused.

I'm unable to make a new CAS standalone. Which sucks because I what a gnat's hair away from finishing this sim I was making by importing some body details to finish them off and now I can't, LOL. Thanks, EA! All this fuss and they still haven't fixed the sliders for Macs!

I'm getting the same error and possibly, it's got to be updated. So idk if redownloading would fix the situation. Commenting in case anyone has found a solution.
