I'm getting the same error and possibly, it's got to be updated. So idk if redownloading would fix the situation. Commenting in case anyone has found a solution. Okay, I saw they're working on it in another post and it's gonna be released here, i think. sims4studio.com/board/6/download-sims-studio-open-versionI also tried the one in this post, but it gives the same error |

Strange... I just patched my game and both Star and Wishes are still working for me.
Edit to add: I do get the error as well now, but only for CAS.

I am sure beta (star) is currently being fixed with Recent Patch adding more bugs. Especially when opening "MY CC" in the makeup catagory there is error message 49.

Folks, there IS a hotfix update for S4S Star as noted here by orangemittens: sims4studio.com/thread/34334/We were on v3.2.1.3 and we're now on v3.2.1.4. Please note the bit that says "EA added a new CAS texture with this stuff pack that is still not fully incorporated into Studio. That will be included in a subsequent update that will be out as soon as possible."
You also need to delete your "*\Documents\Sims 4 Studio" folder!

i have a macbook and the same CASPartResource version 49 is not supported. This most likely means that the game has patched beyond what this version of Studio supports. Please check for an updated version of Sims 4 Studio. dose have fix for macbook ty gunsNrose78

Hello, will Sims4studio(wishes) also be updated? I'm currently trying to install Sims4studio (star), but it doesn't work. My PC says "This app cannot run on the PC" (I downloaded and installed the Runtime desktop file.) If Sims4studio(wishes) is also updated, I'd rather wait before I put more energy into the problem mentioned above  |

If you'd like some help troubleshooting it, let me know.
I too would like Wishes to get hotfixed. Star works fine for me but I don't like that selections don't "stick" in Star. It makes what I'm trying to do infinitely more frustrating. |
