Cc error- tattoo turns sim black(SOLVED)

Hello, I am completely new to modding and custom content creation, so I expected this to be a simple error.

Details of error/glitch: In the studio, the tattoo looks fine. I tried every swatch, added the texture as a diffuse and used a .png format. But when I add it to my game and test it out, it turns the entire sim black. I'm wondering if this is some texture problem, but I was following snootysims' tattoo tutorial to the letter, so I don't know if that's the issue.

I'm at a loss for what to do. I initially thought this was an issue with my windows since I'm dual-booting with Linux solely for the purpose of modding. I added the file to a google drive and tried it on my Linux, but alas, the error/glitch persists. This has me pulling my hairs out because I couldn't find any information on a similar glitch thpugh google. Most of the issues I saw was either the tattoo working incorrectly in-studio or causing problems after CAS. My issue shows itself in CAS.
