Hi there ^^' Been wanting to make a new hairdo for a sim so i decided to begin from the beginning and export a mesh from a base game hair. Received this very weird error message that I for some reason have not been able to find elsewhere on the error reporting board so as you can imagine, I'm a bit confused. What does this mean and how can I fix it? Below is the error message:
The Sims 4 Studio - Version 3.2.1.4 System.InvalidOperationException: Operation is not valid due to the current state of the object. at Microsoft.Win32.CommonDialog.ShowDialog(Window owner) at S4Studio.UI.Core.S4SWindowBase.GetSaveFilepath(FilePickerOptions options) in \\mac\thes4studio\TheS4Studio\S4Studio\UI\Core\S4SWindow.cs:line 270 at S4Studio.ViewModels.CAS.CASStandalone.ExecuteExportMesh() in \\mac\thes4studio\TheS4Studio\S4Studio.Shared\ViewModels\CAS\CASStandalone.cs:line 462 at System.Threading.Tasks.Task.<>c.<ThrowAsync>b__128_0(Object state) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.InternalRealCall(Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs) at System.Windows.Threading.ExceptionWrapper.TryCatchWhen(Object source, Delegate callback, Object args, Int32 numArgs, Delegate catchHandler) Best regards,
thunderchild Edit - Looking further into it i am not so sure if the hair I was trying to export even was a base game hair to begin with, with the name (says a lot about how little I remember of my contents honestly, lol) but will go investigate further.

Hi Roger - so far, it seems like i'll have to delete the Sim4Studio folder and restart the program cause it seems like it's all in the right place, and i had no issue with another hair that i tried to export, so i guess that's what i'll have to do... Thank you for returning to me so quickly

Thank you for returning to me so quickly Seems like it's a bit of a hit and miss. I had repaired the game when i tried the first time, which was prompted me to write here. I then opened the game, took a brief look in CAS and shut it down again as it seems I may have to do some updating on my mods, but haven't done anything at all. Only, i shut down S4S and reopened and found that for some reason i am now once again able to export the mesh of the hair i wanted to export to blender.. got no clue what happened but seems like it's working now...
