Hi y'all! I've been trying to create some gloves for my Sims that I'd eventually like to share, but I've kinda hit a snag! I've had a similar issue before, but the steps I've taken previously aren't rectifying the problem now.
The gloves I've got going were made from duplicating the hands and forearms of the S4S model, essentially. I always make sure my meshes are free of doubles before I import them into S4S, so I'm rather confused as to why I'm seeing doubles on my mesh when I import it! When I export the model again, I can see there are clearly some doubles, so I remove them via Merge By Distance, then re-import the model. But then the issue persists with the mesh having doubles and the textures look wonky both in S4S and in-game. It only seems to affect the fingers and part of the hand.
Hopefully there's a method to fixing this, because the ones I've tried before when creating meshes for gloves aren't really working now unfortunately. 😂

Hi. The body parts you see under the rig are not a part of your item, they are not imported at all, so editing them accomplishes nothing. Gloves are an accessory, those contain no body parts, so you need to adjust the gloves to fit the default avatar ( which is what is clipping into your gloves in s4s) - clone some gloves again, export the blend, open; - delete the original s4studio_mesh_1, append your gloves; - adjust gloves to not clip into hands either with proportional editing or with sculpting brushes; - save and import back

Thanks for the help, and the quick response, too! I'll have to do that with the other glove meshes I've made as well--upon second inspection, they still also have doubles. I'm still rather new to mesh making haha
