so I was trying to make a pants cc for children and when I was testing it the mesh that I added would be connected to the head not the the waist and move with the head, I have tried many things please help me.
I have joined them tried boolean union nothing works.
other tries I do result in the lowest of 3 mesh being invisible.

Could the vertex groups have something with this.
