So, I've been going nuts because all the male townies my game generates have some kind of beard. Like, 99.9% of them. I'm assuming the issue is the game uses RNG to assign a beard from the facial hair category, but that means that the chance of getting a cleanly shaved sim are slim to none. So I thought I'd take a look at the files for townie generation and see if I can change the probability of the game assigning a beard to a sim, or mess with the RNG system or something, but I can't find the file related to townie genetics ANYWHERE. I've found plenty of sim templates that don't have what I'm looking for, and I've found the tuning files for outfit generation, but the categories in those do not include things like hair or beards. Does anyone know where to find what I'm looking for? I've already wasted hours on this fool's errand but it bothers me SO MUCH Thanks for the help!

Hi again, sorry for bumping, just thought I'd add my findings so far in case somebody else has an idea if I'm messing with the right thing or not? Basically I found a tuning file named Client_CASTuning_Human that seems to deal with the chances of randomizing certain items on a sim, from makeup to clothes and hats, but it lacks a category for facial hair. I tried manually adding it following the format of the others, but it causes the game to crash before even getting to the main menu. My guess is I have to "establish" the facial hair category in some other tuning file so that this one can reference it (something like a dependencies file maybe?) but I can't FOR THE LIFE OF ME find said file. If anyone wants to take a look, here's a screenshot of what I'm dealing with. Thanks again! (Editing because I suck at linking images apparently)
